The essentials

Compare like-for-like journeys first, then compare the total amount payable. Separate the base fare, included items, conditional extras and change or cancellation terms. A headline “from” price cannot show whether two offers cover the same trip.

Who this guide is for

Use this checklist when arranging a family journey, business visit or airport transfer, especially when comparing several providers. Two quotes labelled “Hong Kong to Shenzhen” can cover different addresses, vehicle classes and waiting arrangements.

Send each provider the same brief. If you change the date, vehicle or stops, compare the revised full total instead of combining details from older messages.

Give every provider the same six details

Include hotel or building names and the relevant terminal where known. A city name alone leaves too much of the journey undefined.

  • Route: full pickup and drop-off addresses and whether the trip crosses a boundary.
  • Timing: travel date, departure time and any fixed arrival deadline.
  • Vehicle: preferred class or model, passenger count and a luggage inventory.
  • Trip type: one way, separate return, waiting hire or several stops.
  • Requests: child seats, meet-and-greet, additional stops or assistance.
  • Price basis: currency, total per vehicle, payment timing and quote conditions.

Choose a vehicle category before comparing prices

HONGKONGGO's vehicle offering includes seven-seat Alphard, Lexus LM and ZEEKR 009 options, alongside four/five-seat Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz S-Class options. Space may lead a family decision; brand preference and the arrival occasion may also matter for executive travel.

Say whether you require a named model, accept an equivalent class or mainly need a suitable seating and luggage layout. A registered seven-seat vehicle generally includes the driver's seat; it does not mean seven passenger places. Layouts vary by version, so the proposed vehicle should state the available passenger seats.

Separate conditional extras from the total

An extra charge is not automatically unreasonable; an unclear trigger makes comparison difficult. Ask for included and excluded items beside the quoted total rather than relying on “all inclusive” without a definition.

  • When does waiting start, how much is included and how is additional time charged?
  • Are airport, parking, road and crossing-related charges included?
  • What happens if you add a stop, change an address or extend the trip?
  • Do night travel, particular dates or child seats change the quote?
  • How are flight changes, cancellation and rescheduling handled?

Close the discussion with one written summary

A useful message is: “Please confirm [date/time], [A to B], [passengers and bags], [model or class], [total and currency], [included/excluded items] and [return or waiting plan]. When will the booking confirmation and pickup details be issued?” Keep that summary with your travel information.

HONGKONGGO states a service fleet of 50 vehicles, year-round service, 24-hour customer support and replies within one minute. A customer-service reply is separate from vehicle confirmation. Treat the journey as arranged only after you receive clear booking, price and pickup confirmation.

Your pre-journey checklist

  • All quotes use the same addresses, times, party size and vehicle category.
  • The currency, total and conditions for waiting, parking and extra stops are recorded.
  • Outbound and return arrangements are explicit, including change and cancellation terms.
  • I have booking and pickup confirmation, not only an enquiry reference.
