The essentials

Start with the number of passengers, seating requirements and luggage volume, then choose a preferred brand. Seven registered seats include the driver; they are not seven passenger places. Seat layout and irregular items also affect what the vehicle can carry.

Who this guide is for

It helps families, business groups and airport travellers who may have enough seats but an unsuitable luggage arrangement. One consistent inventory makes it easier to compare alternative vehicles.

If passengers join at different stops, count the maximum number travelling at the same time, not only the first pickup.

Choose the category, then the actual layout

HONGKONGGO's main options include seven-seat Alphard, Lexus LM and ZEEKR 009 vehicles, and four/five-seat Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles. Choose a direction based on the occasion, then check the proposed version.

  • Groups and mixed luggage: discuss the actual MPV seating and storage arrangement.
  • Executive travel: meet passenger and luggage needs before choosing the brand or class.
  • Named model: state whether an equivalent alternative is acceptable.
  • Usable seats: ask for the number of passenger places rather than inferring it from the model name.

Describe luggage volume, not just the count

Three cabin cases are different from three large suitcases. Non-stackable boxes and a stroller that cannot fold may require a different solution. Include photos for unusual items.

  • Cases: quantity and approximate length, width and height, or a clear size description.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs: whether they fold and their folded dimensions.
  • Sports equipment, samples and gift boxes: shape, longest side and whether they can be stacked.
  • Small bags: include laptop bags, shopping and anything collected en route.
  • Return journey: state whether shopping or exhibition materials will add to the load.

Recognise a workable proposal

A useful response explains both seating and luggage, rather than simply calling the car spacious. Ask how the proposed arrangement fits your inventory and whether the vehicle type or number of vehicles needs to change.

HONGKONGGO states a service fleet of 50 vehicles. That does not mean every model is available at every time. If departure is urgent, distinguish essential requirements from a preferred badge or finish.

Send one complete vehicle brief

“Our maximum group is [number], with [child seats/other needs]. Bags are [quantity and dimensions], plus [irregular items]. We prefer [model] and can/cannot accept an equivalent. We expect [extra items] on the return. Please propose a vehicle for the whole journey.”

Recheck the arrangement if you add a passenger or bulky item. Do not assume an already planned load can simply take one more; it is easier to change the vehicle before pickup.

Your pre-journey checklist

  • Maximum simultaneous passenger count is correct.
  • Available passenger places are stated.
  • All cases and irregular items are listed.
  • Vehicle substitution and extra return luggage are addressed.
  • Any changes to the load have been communicated.
